Vilamoura’s evenings have a gaming floor at their centre, and it’s Casino Vilamoura (Grupo Solverde), a short walk from the marina hotels and about 25 km from Faro Airport. Inside: a large slot hall running into the hundreds of machines, American roulette, blackjack, French bank, punto banco, and regular Texas Hold’em tournaments. There’s a restaurant, a couple of bars, and a show calendar that rotates comedy nights, tribute acts, and summer concert slots.
This is an adults-only evening, full stop. Bring ID, expect a dress code, and leave your phone in your area once you’re on the gaming floor. The easy plan is dinner on the marina first, then a short walk or taxi over, rather than treating this as a sightseeing stop with the kids in tow.
Good for you if you and your partner or group want slots, tables, or a show ticket for the night. Not for you if you’d rather have beach-club music without any gambling – try Água Qlub instead, or just walk the promenade out to the lighthouse.
