Albufeira Riding Centre uses that countryside for treks, lessons, and Pony Club days – a proper change of scene from the beach and the strip.

Treks, lessons, and specials
Short nature walks suit absolute beginners. Then come 1-hour and 2-hour countryside treks, sunset treks (from spring), and ride-and-tapas options that add a meal after time in the saddle.
Longer beach rides (roughly 2-3 hours) are for experienced riders only. If your group mixes first-timers and confident canterers, book separate abilities rather than forcing one pace.
Lessons cover dressage, jumping, stable management, and in-hand work, in group or private formats (group lessons usually stay small). Children’s packages and adult lesson/trek packages show on the site when offers are live.
Saturday Pony Club is the kids’ full-day option (roughly ages 7-16 – confirm times and what to bring). English-style saddles are the house default, not Western.
Prices move with season and package. Use the website ride list as the live price sheet, and tell them your level when you book: beginner walk-only, intermediate walk/trot, or experienced canter/gallop control.
