Noélia & Jerónimo

Tavira

Noélia & Jerónimo review - Cabanas fine dining for lagoon ingredients and tasting menus; the Tavira-area Michelin star is A Ver Tavira.

Our verdict

Noélia & Jerónimo remains a strong east-coast splurge - reserve early, but for the 2026 Michelin star book A Ver Tavira and use Noélia as a second fine-dining night.

Noélia & Jerónimo is a flagship Cabanas-area fine-dining room – Ria Formosa seafood, salt-marsh produce, and modern Portuguese technique with polished service. The 2026 Michelin star for Tavira is A Ver Tavira; travellers staying in Tavira old town usually taxi ten to fifteen minutes.

Menus shift with the season: creative plates, optional wine pairings, and a meal paced over two to three hours. Lagoon fish, shellfish, and garden herbs do the heavy lifting. Book weeks ahead for July and August; spring and autumn are easier, but don’t count on walking in.

Who it suits: food-led couples building a Tavira week around markets, ferries, and one headline meal; special occasions – anniversaries, birthdays, multi-generational treats; contrast seekers after simple grill nights in Tavira lanes. Not for piri-piri budgets or rushed one-hour dinners.
