Krazy World

Lagoa

Krazy World - animals, mini-golf, karting, and play zones for younger kids inland from Lagoa.

Our verdict

Krazy World fills the gap when your children are too small for mega-slides or too tired for Zoomarine queues - a half-day of animals, karting, and mini-golf. Teens may find it thin unless they love go-karts.

Krazy World sits inland from Lagoa and Carvoeiro: a compact family park mixing animal encounters, mini-golf, karting, inflatables, and playground-style rides. It’s quieter than the coastal water parks and pitched at primary-school ages rather than adrenaline teens. Think gentle half-day, not all-day mega-park.

Who should go

Parents with children roughly three to ten who want animals without a full marine-park ticket. Rainy or windy afternoons when beach plans collapse. Mini-golf and karting fans – karting has height limits; check on arrival.

Not a great standalone big-ticket day for teenagers, and you need a car – the site is rural.

What to expect

A zoo-lite circuit (goats, ponies, reptiles depending on season), fairground rides scaled for younger kids, a mini-golf course, and karting track as paid extras. Food is simple canteen fare – many families eat before they arrive.

The vibe is local and low-key compared with Zoomarine or Aqualand – a plus for nervous toddlers, a minus if you wanted polished theme-park production values.

Practical tips

Plan two to four hours, not sunrise to sunset. Check karting and pony schedules – some activities run at fixed times. Morning beach at Carvoeiro, afternoon park works in summer. See where to stay in Lagoa for Carvoeiro vs Ferragudo drives.

Worth it?

Yes as a half-day for younger kids near Lagoa/Carvoeiro. No if you need towering slides – head to Slide & Splash instead. Combine with a calm evening in Carvoeiro village.
