Adega Arvad is a proper working vineyard, not a tasting room bolted onto a hotel. It sits at Sítio da Abicada, 8400-167 Estômbar (Lagoa), on clay soils near the Arade river, growing Negra Mole and other estate grapes.
Winemaker Bernardo Cabral leads the cellar, and the Thursday Arvad Sunset Sessions (usually 18:00-21:00 in season) are the one to book if you want the social side. Confirm dates on the site before you drive out from Portimão or Silves.

Worth it? Yes, as a Lagoa wine half-day. If you’re based further east, compare inland tastings at Quinta da Tôr instead.
