The name comes from the family’s great-grandfather Germano, born and raised in Alte, who ran a bicycle repair and hire workshop here back in the 1930s. Three generations later the room still does both jobs – coffee on one side, a quick fix on the other – and it leans toward local, recycled, and health-minded snacks rather than anything you’d find in a marina café.(also).
