Clube Surf de Faro (also listed as Clube de Surf de Faro) is the local, unpolished side of Praia de Faro surfing. Think club energy rather than a holiday booking desk: people who already know the lineups and paddle out most days, not a walk-up lesson for someone who’s never touched a board.
Good for you if you already surf, bring or rent your own gear, and want to be part of the Faro club scene rather than a tourist session. Not for you as a first surf experience. If nobody in your group has surfed before, start with AMAR Surfing Academia a short walk along Av. Nascente, then come find the club once you can handle yourself in the water.
